Back to Meet Our Cowgirls!

Being a Cowgirl Chick has taught me a lot about myself. It has enabled me to grow – not only in my riding skills, but also as a person. I am reminded of the people we ride for – those with cancer. Many of my own family members have died from this disease. Their memory motivates me to ride hard and do my best.

One of the most interesting things about being a Cowgirl Chick is the interaction we have with little girls. They look up to us and dream of someday becoming a Chick themselves. I realize it’s an awesome responsibility to be a role model. For me, Trish Lynn and my fellow teammates are my role models. From them, I have learned to live our motto – Never Quit!
